Meet Eren and Nari, a playful and friendly duo who came to us together! While they’ve shared their journey so far, they don’t have to be adopted together . Eren is a fun-loving boy who’s always ready for action. He loves to play and brings a great energy to any room. Whether he’s chasing toys or exploring his surroundings, he’s happiest when he’s having fun with his people. Nari is just as playful and friendly as her brother. She enjoys interactive play and will happily join in on games. When playtime winds down, she’s ready to soak up attention and be part of the family. Both Eren and Nari have done well with kids and would likely thrive in a home where they can get plenty of playtime, attention, and love. If you’re looking for a friendly, playful companion (or two!), Eren and Nari are ready to bring joy and energy into your home.
Change is hard for this cat. This cat will be very nervous when you first bring them home. You will need to set up a room with a litter box, food, and water. It will take days for this cat to become comfortable and confident in the new home. This cat will be going home with a behavior plan that will need to be followed in order for everyone to transition successfully.

Come during our open adoption hours: Tuesday - Saturday,12:30 - 3:00pm. You’ll be able to meet available cats in the shelter.
(Cats in foster care are not available for in-person visits.)
#2- ADOPT REMOTELY OR PLACE A 24-HOUR HOLD**
If you’re ready to adopt without meeting the cat first, or you’d like to place a non-refundable $25 hold to reserve a cat for 24 hours, just call or email us: (413) 781-4000 x 1 springfield@dakinhumane.org. We are often helping other clients when you call, but we return voicemails and emails within 24 hours.
**Holds are not available on Saturdays and during adoption events.

All cat adoption fees include;
-spay/neuter
-rabies vaccine
-current distemper vaccines (may need additional boosters with your veterinarian)
-FeLV/FIV blood test
-microchip implanted & registered to the adopter
-treatment of fleas/ticks/ear mites
-veterinary exam and health certificate at Dakin
-free vet exam within 30 days after adoption with participating veterinarians
Most pets have also received other medical care while with us. Your veterinarian may recommend additional health care for your new pet.
