If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Teflon is a handsome young man (~3 years old) with a bit of a backstory. He came to me with no history other than animal control had brought him in with a degloved tail that needed to be amputated. His days of recovery have been spent melting into laps, sprawling out on the desk over arms, and begging for belly rubs. This cat is an absolute ham that just wants to spend hours sitting on your lap or in a kitty bed. In his spare time he can be spotted gazing out windows and bird watching or begging for some delicious cat food. Unfortunately, it can be assumed that a dog or coyote is the source of his tail needing amputation and he does not do well around dogs. Teflon would prefer a quiet household where he can be the center of attention and receive all the pets someone has to offer. He can cohabitate with another kitty if they are quieter but would do best in a home with 1 or no other cats. He is up to date with his vaccinations and is FIV / FeLV negative.
