My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Petra!

Petra is a beautiful girl with a quiet, gentle spirit. She’s very shy and prefers to observe the world from a safe little spot while she figures things out.

Petra will need lots of TLC and a patient, understanding home where she can build trust at her own pace. With kindness and consistency, she’ll slowly begin to show her sweet side — and those small moments of connection will mean everything.

Because of her sensitive nature, Petra would do best in a calm, all-adult home where she can feel secure and truly settle in.

If you have a soft spot for the shy ones and the love to help her blossom, Petra is waiting for you.

More about this shelter

Euclid Pet Pals is the volunteer organization whose members care for the animals at the Euclid Animal Shelter, in Euclid, Ohio. We raise funds by offering personal and business memberships and cage sponsorships. Other fundraisers include a Bark-B-Q in May, a Clam Jam in October, and car washes in July. The money we raise is used to pay for veterinary care and medications, necessary supplies, and spay/neuters. We are dedicated to providing a healthy, loving environment for animals waiting to be adopted.
