My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Slate!

Slate is a handsome boy with a truly gorgeous gray coat that’s as soft as it looks. He’s on the shy side and tends to hang back at first, quietly taking everything in with those thoughtful eyes of his.

Slate will need a patient, understanding home where he can receive plenty of TLC and move at his own pace. With time, gentle reassurance, and a kind heart, he’ll learn to trust his person — and those quiet bonds are often the most special of all.

Because of his sensitive nature, Slate would do best in a calm, all-adult home where he can feel safe and secure.

If you have a peaceful home and the love to help a gentle soul blossom, Slate could be your perfect match!

More about this shelter

Euclid Pet Pals is the volunteer organization whose members care for the animals at the Euclid Animal Shelter, in Euclid, Ohio. We raise funds by offering personal and business memberships and cage sponsorships. Other fundraisers include a Bark-B-Q in May, a Clam Jam in October, and car washes in July. The money we raise is used to pay for veterinary care and medications, necessary supplies, and spay/neuters. We are dedicated to providing a healthy, loving environment for animals waiting to be adopted.
