My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Leela – the one-eyed captain your heart has been waiting for

Every great hero has an origin story, and Leela’s is one of courage. Rescued from a severe hoarding situation where she was living in terrible conditions, this long-haired tabby has already proven she’s tougher than just about anything the universe can throw at her.

Just like the fearless captain from Futurama, Leela is bold, confident, and always ready for adventure. She struts into a room like she’s charting a new galaxy, tail held high, curious about everything. Toys don’t stand a chance — she’ll leap, chase, and pounce with impressive skill and determination.

Leela does have one eye that is damaged. She’ll be having surgery soon to see if it can be saved. Whatever the outcome, we know one thing for certain: this brave girl will adapt and keep leading the way. A true space commander never backs down.

But here’s her secret: behind that fearless exterior is the sweetest soul. When the mission of the day is complete, Leela happily powers down into cuddle mode. She loves nothing more than curling up with her people, fluff tucked neatly around her, purring softly as she drifts off to sleep. She’s just as devoted to snuggles as she is to playtime.

Leela is resilient, affectionate, and full of personality — a survivor with a captain’s heart and a cuddlebug’s soul. If you’re ready to add a little adventure (and a lot of love) to your home, this one-eyed heroine is ready to lead the way.
