My name is Rex. I was living outside in Poplar Bluff getting food and attention from a nice lady. Her husband was allergic to me, so I had to stay outside. She noticed I was limping on my front leg and had a toenail barely hanging on on my back paw. She did not have the funds to get me to a vet, so she surrendered me to this rescue group. By the time my foster dad could come get me, my toenail had fallen out and my paw scabbed over. My dad got me to the vet and I was put on antibiotics because my leg was a bit swollen and had a puncture wound in my armpit. I am super friendly and playful. I am slightly vocal. All cats have been spayed or neutered, microchipped, FIV/FeLV tested, are current on shots, flea treated, and dewormed. An adoption fee applies. We are a non-profit feline foster-based rescue located in St. Louis County and St. Charles County.
We specialize in cats and kittens. We rescue our babies from local high-kill shelters and other rescue agencies. We do ask for a donation for any feline we rescue to offset some of their vetting costs. We also assist with local TNR efforts.
All of our kitties have been spayed/neutered, FIV/FeLV tested, microchipped, given age-appropriate vaccines, de-wormed, and flea treated. Our kitties are located in loving foster homes waiting for you to adopt them. We do have a few kitties at located at the cat adoption center at the Petco at Mackenzie Pointe, the Telegraph Petco, and the Florissant PetSmart.
