Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi! We’re Coco and Clover. 🖤🐾
Two little black cats, one very big friendship. Wherever you see one of us, the other probably isn’t far behind. We love to curl up together, groom each other, and nap in the coziest little cuddle piles. Some people think we might be sisters… or maybe mother and daughter. We’re not telling—but we do look a lot alike!
We were found together in the Little Village neighborhood of Chicago, and we’ve stuck by each other ever since. Being together makes us feel safe and happy, and we’re hoping to find a home that will welcome both of us. Trust us—the sweetest things come in pairs.
Coco here! I’m the more outgoing one. I’m usually the first to come say hello and ask for pets (and I’m very good at asking). I love attention and will happily seek you out for cuddles. One small note about me: when it’s mealtime, I get very enthusiastic. So enthusiastic that I might try to help Clover finish her food too. It’s best if someone keeps an eye on us while we eat so everyone gets their fair share.
And I’m Clover! I’m just as sweet, maybe a little quieter at first, but I love affection and cozy time with my people. My favorite thing in the world is snuggling up with Coco and giving her little grooming sessions.
Together, we’re basically professional snugglers. We love cuddles, pets, good meals, and being near the people who care about us. If you’re looking for a gentle, loving pair of cats who will fill your home with sweetness (and adorable black-cat charm), we might just be the perfect duo.
Love,
Coco & Clover 🖤🐱🐱

Our fees include a full medical exam by a veterinarian. This includes a Feline Leukemia and FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus) test for cats, Rabies and Distemper Vaccines, deworming and Spay/Neuter. Dogs receive a Heartworm Check, Spay/Neuter, Rabies and Distemper Vaccines, Canine Flu Vaccine, deworming, and Kennel Cough preventative. Our modest adoption fees do not cover the procedures and vet work that we provide the animals. We fundraise to make up the difference. Any ongoing medical needs that C.A.R.E. is aware of are explained fully, (including daily medicine costs), to the potential adopter, and become the responsibility of the adopter.
