If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Meet Spoon. He’s a 2 year old boxer pit mix. I adopted him a year ago. He is truly the sweetest boy, and a big cuddle bug. He loves people with a passion. He’s always is up for an adventure, a run, or just playing with his favorite ball. Spoon has idiopathic head tremor syndrome. Which means when he gets anxious his head shakes, is on meds for his anxiety, and they have stopped his shakes.
Unfortunately spoon is reactive to dogs, cats, and sometimes kids. Due to the fact that he is so excited and can’t calm himself down.
I need to rehome him because I have a new job that has me at work more often than home. It is unfair to diminish his quality of life by keeping him at home.
He truly is the best dog when he is on his own. He’s looking for a home where he can be the star of the show!
