Their adoption process

We make sure that the dog matches the adopters once and needs and lifestyle of a dog.

Adoption steps

  1. Submit Application
    1. An adopter contacts us and we email a comprehensive application to them to complete.
  2. Approve Application
    1. After they send back application we review it and contact vet and references. If there is no vet we do a virtual walk through of their home.
  3. Interview
    1. We speak on the phone with potential adopters. Asking more questions about their life to se did the dog they are interested in will thrive.
  4. Meet the Pet
    1. They come to our foster home to meet, we continue the interview process here as well to make sure it is a good match.
  5. Sign Adoption Contract
    1. The contract is signed and they are given a copy.
  6. Pay Fee
    1. Our adoption fees cover the dogs medical bills and a nominal fee for dog food, flea & tick and heart worm prevention.
  7. Take the Pet Home
    1. They leave the premises and we follow up 3 days 3 weeks and 3 months and then we request for them to send us updates at their leisure.

More about this rescue

We think of ourselves as protectors of gentle giants who have fallen on hard times and are in need of a new home. Our goal is to bring the dog in, complete all vetting, make sure the dog is ready for a family with no behaviors that would put a family at risk. We are completely transparent with our adopters. We want the relationship to succeed and thrive.

We are compassionate and passionate about the care, safety, and love of a dog.
