What is Rehome?
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Here are two friendly and confident kittens born in our house, who have been handled many times a day since birth. They are completely socialized in our active home and have been carefully exposed to visitors, kids, dogs and other cats. Never timid, they come over to us to get picked up and do not react to loud household noises and commotion.
Heath wise, they are just back from their first vet exam where they got their distemper and rabies shots and tested negative for feline leukemia. Both are using their litter box and eat dry food enthusiastically. They have never been outside.
They do have their individual personalities – Georgette (on the left in the photo – who we though was was probably George until the vet visit!) is a bit more boisterous, while Louise is definitely a snugger. Since they take such pleasure in playing and sleeping together that we would like them to go to the same home where they can have each other as companions throughout their long lives.
