She'll need a little time to adjust to her new home, but once she feels safe, Periwinkle enjoys quiet companionship - especially during mealtime! We are the first organization in the country to meet the guidelines put forth by the Association of Shelter Veterinarians for standards of care for shelter animals: We are the first model shelter.
We are also the first animal community center in the nation to receive Gold LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certification from the U.S. Green Building Council.
