Axolotle is a beautiful 10-year old female Tortoiseshell kitty who was brought to the HSOV on October 28, 2025 by a Good Samaritan who found her on Pleasant Ridge Road in the Marietta Ohio area.
Axolotle has a dark brown/black/orange/beige short smooth coat in a tortoiseshell pattern, a long tail, and an adorable face with golden eyes, a black velvet nose, and long black whiskers.
This senior citizen has a friendly, outgoing personality and comes running to the front of her cage when she sees an opportunity for attention.
Axolotle was given vaccinations, dewormer, and flea treatment on November 6, 2025. She was given booster vaccines on November 22, 2025. Axolotle weighed 7 lbs when she entered our shelter on October 28th.
Axolotle was spayed on March 3, 2026 and was also given rabies vaccine. She weighed 9.1 lbs that day.
Axolotle is currently making her residence in a double-wide cage in The Jungle Room where most of our adoptable cats are housed. She would love to find a home of her very own where she would have out-of-cage freedom and someone to love her 24/7.
