Meet Kobee💛 🌟
1️⃣ Health Condition
* Neutered.
* Microchipped and currently undergoing treatment for heartworm, anaplasma, and giardia.
* While at the shelter, he was bitten by a neighboring dog, resulting in tears to his face and nose. Has received treatment; scabs have formed, and he is currently receiving daily disinfection.
* Upon rescue, he was severely emaciated with his ribs showing. To help him gain weight, we are mixing pet milk into his kibble for every meal.
2️⃣ Rescue Story
* Kobee was living at the Gimje City Shelter. He was found with facial wounds from a dog bite and was dangerously thin. Recognizing his urgent need for medical care and protection, Adogs decided to step in and rescue him immediately.
3️⃣ Basic Information
* With People: Absolutely loves people and has zero shyness! Will stand up to cling to you, flop his big body down to show his belly, and wag his tail enthusiastically. Because he is tall, his paws can reach an adult woman's shoulders or face when he jumps up in excitement. Care is needed to avoid accidental scratches from his nails.
* With Dogs: Caution is required as he shows aggression toward other dogs. Initially, he lived peacefully with a dog named Pookey. However, he showed aggression when we tried to introduce him to another dog, Mina. Recently, he has even shown aggression toward Pookey, so he is currently being housed alone. Growls and barks at other dogs.
* With Cats: Hasn't had a formal introduction, but he became very excited and tried to chase a cat he spotted during leash training.
* Separation Anxiety: Unknown, as he is currently living in a group environment.
* Potty Training: Currently only goes potty outdoors at our center.
* Walks: Hasn't had formal walks yet, but when taken to the yard on a leash, he pulled strongly upon seeing a cat. Once away from that area, the pulling wasn't severe. We believe he will improve with consistent leash training.
* Car Sickness: None observed during short-distance travel.
* Zero aggression toward humans, but he does snap at other dogs. Attempted to bite during the introduction with Mina and currently growls if other dogs even come into view through the crate bars.
* Growls and barks at other dogs. Does not typically whine.
* Likes food, treats, and people.
* Feels very uncomfortable and reactive around other dogs.

More about this rescue
ADOGS(Adopt Dogs), a non-profit organization, is an abandoned dog foster/adoption organization launched by an individual volunteer group that has rescued, fostered, adopted dogs since 2018.
We are conducting rescue, foster, adopt from South Korea rural shelter. We also rescue dogs irregularly from illegal dog farms or any other places that need help.
We rescue large and small dogs of all breeds, including dogs with special needs.
Although we can't save all abandoned dogs in the world, we are doing our best to the dogs in front of us so that their lives can be changed like any other pets.
In expanding our search for adoption leads, we’ve broadened our mission: To bring at-risk dogs across the Pacific to loving stateside families.
Due to limited demand for large-breed dogs in Korea, arranging for local adoption has proven almost impossible. Instead, we seek to bring these persecuted dogs to the United States where dogs have a higher chance for adoption and survival.
