Meet Oakley
Oakley has come a long way from her days living outside at a trailer park, where she had to survive and raise kittens on her own. Those days are finally behind her. Oakley is now spayed, safe indoors, and happily gaining back the weight she lost while taking care of herself and her babies.
Now that she’s experiencing the good life, Oakley has discovered just how wonderful being an indoor cat can be. She’s a very vocal girl and loves to “talk” to her people, especially when she wants attention or has something important to say. If you enjoy a chatty cat, Oakley will happily keep you company and carry on conversations with you.
Oakley enjoys sleeping in bed with her humans and making herself comfortable right by your side. Most nights she also gets a case of the zoomies, showing off her playful and silly side as she runs around the house.
Oakley can get overstimulated sometimes and may give a little growl, but it’s not aggression—it’s simply her way of politely warning you that she’s had enough attention for the moment. She’s just communicating in her own way and does best with people who understand and respect her boundaries.
She doesn’t really care for dogs, though she hasn’t shown aggression toward them. Oakley would likely thrive in a calm, quieter home where she can relax, feel safe, and continue enjoying the indoor life she waited so long for.
After everything she’s been through, Oakley is ready for a peaceful home, a cozy bed, and someone who will love her talkative personality and playful zoomies.
