Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Kuku! Your new couch companion 🧡🐾
Kuku is a handsome orange gentleman looking for a calm, loving home where he can start his next chapter. This shy boy can be a little fearful at first, so he would do best in a quiet environment with patient adopters who will give him the time and space he needs to settle in. Kuku is very much a couch potato kind of cat, he enjoys relaxing and doing his own thing. Once he feels safe, he’ll happily share your space while still appreciating a bit of independence.
He hasn’t lived with other cats before, but he has lived with a cat savvy dog. If there are other pets in the home, slow and careful introductions will be important to help Kuku feel comfortable. He also has no experience with children, so any interactions should be calm and gentle to help set him up for success. Kuku will go home with a dental voucher, as he will need to schedule a dental appointment with a veterinarian. He also has a cauliflower ear and may be prone to recurring ear infections, so weekly ear cleanings will help keep him comfortable and healthy.
With patience, understanding, and a peaceful home, Kuku has so much love to give. If you’re looking for a quiet companion who just wants a cozy place to relax and feel safe, Kuku might be your perfect match.
Come meet and rescue this sweet guy! 🐱

The first step in our adoption process is to submit an adopter profile through our website. We then encourage you to visit PARL at 34 Elbow Street and get to know the animals we have available. You do not need an appointment, and we invite you to visit us often. PARL’s goal is to assist you in finding your best match for a lifelong companion.
When you arrive, you’ll sign PARL’s visitor log, and staff will direct you to PARL’s cat rooms, small animal spaces, or dog kennels (depending on your preference.) We encourage you to spend time outside with the dogs, or petting our cats and small animals. Please ask questions -- that's why we're here.
If you don't find what you are looking for the first time, please come see us again! Chances are that we will have some new furry friends available for adoption, and one of them might be purr-fect for you!
