My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Maizie is a 3 year old purebred German Shorthair Pointer from Bons Kennels and is a very loving, loyal, and happy girl. She has been spayed and she is in great health. We welcomed a new baby and unfortunately she has no concept of gentle behavior around him- not maliciously, she is just unaware of his fragility and is very focused on the attention she wants from us. She is housebroken- though she sometimes thinks certain rug textures are potty pads. She does take a hormone therapy, but no other medications. She is up to date on shots, has her AKC Good Citizen training certificate. She has recall with a tone sound, loves to go on runs with her humans, and is great with other dogs (we have an older lab). We have two cats and though she initially tried to treat them as prey she is now good with them and lets them roam freely. She is super affectionate and loves to be a lap baby and would be happiest in a home with lots of window perches and a fenced in yard or land.
