Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Jeremy! 🐾
Jeremy is a handsome 1-year-old kitty with a gentle soul. He can be a little shy when meeting new people, but quickly warms up, and his sweet PURRsonality really shines through. Jeremy absolutely loves being pet and will happily soak up all the affection you’re willing to give.
He has lived with younger children and has done well with them, and he also gets along nicely with other cats. Jeremy previously enjoyed being an indoor/outdoor kitty, so he may want to seek more outdoor adventures, or be content as an indoor kitty.
With a little patience and lots of love, Jeremy will blossom into a loyal and affectionate companion. If you’re looking for a kind, gentle cat who just wants a cozy home and someone to love, Jeremy could be the perfect match. 🐱💛

More about this shelter
We're a small shelter in Vermont covering 11 towns in Windsor County. We have a small but very dedicated staff, and an active volunteer program. We have been rescuing cats and dogs since our inception in 1941, when a wonderful woman turned her barn into a shelter. Since then we've grown quite a bit and have recently redone our entire kennel area - we have sun tubes for natural light, radiant heat in the floors, a music program and an aromatherapy program. All through the generous donations of the public. Our cats live comfortably in community cat rooms where they are free to roam and climb and play. We have acres of field for dog walking. We have a large puppy room, and a larger still puppy play area outside. We also have a large indoor room for people to meet dogs during inclement weather.
