My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi there! I am Moose, one of the remaining "Great Outdoors" kittens. I am currently six weeks old and spending my days learning how to be brave explorers under the watchful eye of my mama, Alaska.

Since we’re named after the legends of the North, we’ve got big reputations to live up to. Here is my scouting report:

Like a Moose in the willows, I am quieter and more observant than my siblings. I’m stoic and steady, but watch out—when I get the "zoomies," I’m a force of nature! I’m looking for a backyard—err, living room—where I can grow into my big personality.

My mama, Alaska, has taught me and my siblings everything we need to know about being wild at heart but sweet at home. Apply to meet one of us today!

More about this rescue

SNIPSA is an organization formed by a group of veterinarians and caring individuals dedicated to helping homeless and unwanted animals in San Antonio and the surrounding area. SNIPSA does not have a standing shelter and depends on a core of volunteers to foster and rehabilitate animals in their homes. This provides us with the opportunity to learn first hand about the animal’s needs and behavior in order to facilitate an appropriate adoption. SNIPSA was incorporated in 2005 and has re-homed more than 3000 animals.
