My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Wascal is a domestic brown female rabbit who is approximately 1 years old. She is spayed and up to date on monthly doses of revolution.

Wascal is a lovable bunny with a big personality and an even bigger love for food. She is incredibly affectionate and enjoys spending time close to her people. If you sit down, there is a very good chance Wascal will hop over and settle right into your lap for a cuddle. She is happy to sit there soaking up pets and attention for a good fifteen minutes at a time.
Food is the way to Wascal’s heart. She absolutely loves her veggies, sun salad, and pellets, and she is very food motivated. When it is mealtime she makes her excitement known, and if you are taking too long she may give a little grunt or lunge to remind you that she is ready to eat.

Wascal also loves enrichment and enjoys foraging through a dig box to search for treats. When she is feeling relaxed, her favourite place to sleep is curled up in her woven hay basket.

She is a very interactive bunny who enjoys attention and pets. If you are nearby but not giving her the affection she thinks she deserves, she may dig gently at your legs to remind you that it is time to focus on her.

With her cuddly nature, playful curiosity, and strong opinions about snack time, Wascal is a wonderful bunny who will bring lots of personality and affection into her home.

Wascal's adoption fee is $100. If interested, please submit a rabbit adoption application.

Additional adoption info

Most of our cats live in foster homes. Some are available to meet at satellite locations such as Pet Valu and Ren's Depot. A few foster homes are available to meet and greets at their home, or we also do meet and greets at request at our shelter prior to adoption. Most of these results in same day adoptions, and only take place after an adoption interview.
