February may have come and gone, but Valentine the cat gives love all year round. This handsome tuxedo cat came to EHS from a crowded municipal shelter. Not much is known about his past, but we are confident that his future will be rosy.
ABOUT VALENTINE - At shelter - Valentine is a skittish cat who appears to have had minimal experience with humans. - He is currently enrolled in EHS’s socialization program, where dedicated volunteers are working to help him become more comfortable around people. - Valentine is not yet comfortable being touched by hand, but is okay with some gentle affection from the back-scratcher. One day at a time, little love. - This boy does not seem to be food motivated. Perhaps he believes candy and treats on Valentine’s Day are too commercialized? - Valentine is neutered, microchipped, dewormed, flea-treated, SNAP-tested for FIV/FeLV, and is up to date on core vaccinations.
VALENTINE’S IDEAL HOME - Valentine will benefit from a calm, quiet environment. - He does occasionally door dash so would not be suitable in a home with children. - As we get to know Valentine, we will be able to determine if he would welcome a compatible feline friend. - His compatibility with dogs is unknown. - Potential adopters should be prepared to commit the time, effort, and patience required to help Valentine settle into his new environment. EHS will provide post-adoption support to assist Valentine with a successful transition to his forever home.
Are you ready to fall in love with Valentine? Why not come by the shelter and meet this handsome boy? He’s already dressed in his tuxedo!
