Meet Bella! Bella is a beautiful 15-year-old black cat with the softest heart and the gentlest soul. She is friendly, incredibly sweet, and finds joy in quiet moments—batting at balls or strings and spending peaceful time with her person. Bella enjoys light daily exercise with a human and truly thrives on calm companionship. Bella came to HALO through no fault of her own. Her beloved owner is currently battling cancer and needed to maintain a sterile environment, making it impossible to keep Bella at home. Saying goodbye was an act of deep love, and now Bella is hoping for another chance to spend her golden years feeling safe and cherished. Upon intake, Bella was noted to have significant vision and hearing impairment, which is common in senior cats and may progress with time. While she still has some sight and hearing, she relies more on scent, memory, and routine to navigate her world. Because of this, Bella does best in a stable, predictable environment with consistent placement of her food, water, litter box, and resting areas. Sudden changes or large unfamiliar spaces can be confusing or stressful for her. Ongoing veterinary monitoring is recommended to support her comfort and health as she ages. Bella does well with strangers, other cats, and older children. Her experience with babies, toddlers, and dogs is unknown. She would be an ideal companion for someone with a quiet home and a big heart for seniors. Bella is a truly special girl with so much love left to give—she’s just waiting for the right person to see her. If you have any questions about Bella, please call HALO at 602-971-9222.
