Bonjour! I am called La Fleur, which is French for the Flower. I am a 7 month old black girl kitty, and I am beautiful like a flower. I can be fickle--I don't love being here at the shelter and would really like to find a home that will give me time to open up and bloom at my own pace. I don't hate people or anything like that, I just haven't had a lot of reasons to trust people before I came here. But I'm willing to try if you're willing to give me a chance!
The adoption fee covers the following: spay or neuter surgery; one-year rabies vaccine; feline or canine distemper vaccine; heartworm test (dogs) or combo (fiv/felv) test (cats); deworming; and microchip.

The hours of operation are: Monday through Wednesday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Thursday 12:30 pm till 6:00 pm; Friday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Saturday 9:00 am till 4:00 pm. The Carroll County Animal Shelter will be closed the last Friday of every month for deep cleaning, staff training, and animal enrichment.
