Meet Pearl!
Pearl is a beautiful 2-year-old Great Pyrenees with a soft heart and a goofy, lovable personality. She spent about six months living as a stray in a rural area of California before finally making her way to the shelter. Because of that, Pearl likely hasn’t experienced life as a typical indoor family dog yet, so she’ll need a patient home willing to help her learn what it means to be part of a family. Despite her rough start, Pearl is incredibly sweet, affectionate, and eager for attention. She has a playful, silly side that shines and she truly enjoys spending time with her people. True to her breed, Pearl also loves being outdoors, so a home with a securely fenced yard where she can safely explore and relax in the fresh air is required.
Pearl has done well with other friendly dogs and may enjoy having a canine companion. However, we were told she has chased chickens in the past. Her history with cats is unknown, but cat testing can be done for serious applicants. Pearl will thrive in a home that understands she’s still learning as she adjusts to indoor life. With patience, kindness, and a little guidance, this sweet girl is sure to be a loyal and loving companion.
If you’re looking for a gentle, goofy guardian with a big heart, Pearl might just be your perfect match. Be sure to keep your eyes peeled on Instagram (@nwdogproject) for updates! If you would like to be considered as Pearl's forever home, be sure to submit an adoption application on our website!
Adoption fee includes; spay/neuter, microchip, microchip registration, dewormer, fecal testing, flea/tick prevention and age-appropriate vaccines.
Pearl would do great in a home with...
Cats :
Dogs : Yep!
Kiddos : 10+
