Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Pretzel & Nugget are a bonded pair and must be adopted together.
Hey there ~ I’m Pretzel, my brother is Nugget, and yes ~ people mix us up sometimes. It happens when you’re both ridiculously handsome! But here’s a couple of clues: I’m slightly bigger with fancy white fluff near my ears and Nugget is the smaller one with the stylish, white-tipped tail. We’re different in some other ways, too. I’m considered to be the official household undercover explorer. I like to sneak into nooks and crannies and then appear places you didn’t even know existed. One moment I’m gone ~ and the next I’m popping out of a cozy hideaway like a fuzzy little magician! Nugget, on the other paw, LOVES being picked up and chauffeured around the house. He always says, “why walk when you can ride?”. And if you sit down, there’s a very good chance he will climb right up you like a tiny mountain!
Even though we’re very busy adventurers, we’re also big fans of the good life: things like being cuddled, getting pets, and hanging out with our people. Sometimes we’re happy to just sit and watch you with our little heads tilted to the side like tiny fuzzy philosophers trying to figure out what you guys are up to! So, if you’re looking for a pair of nearly identical brothers who adore each other ~ and will adore you, too ~ then you might be the perfect human for us. Come meet us soon and let’s find out!

Our fees include a full medical exam by a veterinarian. This includes a Feline Leukemia and FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus) test for cats, Rabies and Distemper Vaccines, deworming and Spay/Neuter. Dogs receive a Heartworm Check, Spay/Neuter, Rabies and Distemper Vaccines, Canine Flu Vaccine, deworming, and Kennel Cough preventative. Our modest adoption fees do not cover the procedures and vet work that we provide the animals. We fundraise to make up the difference. Any ongoing medical needs that C.A.R.E. is aware of are explained fully, (including daily medicine costs), to the potential adopter, and become the responsibility of the adopter.
