My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Lorna 💕

At just four months old, Lorna is cute as can be, with that soft kitten sweetness that makes you want to scoop her up and never put her down. She has the softest fur.

Lorna loves being around other cats, especially the calm, gentle types. She’s not a fan of the rough and tumble crowd, but give her a mellow feline friend to observe and learn from, and she absolutely blossoms. She’s the quiet little sister energy, happiest when she has a steady buddy nearby.

With people, Lorna is a bit shy at first. She doesn’t usually march right up demanding attention. But here’s the secret: if you gently pick her up and hold her, she melts. The purr switch flips on, and she settles right in, safe and content in your arms.

We truly believe this is the perfect time for Lorna to join a family of her own. In a patient, loving home, she will bond deeply and grow into a devoted companion. She just needs someone willing to see the soft, snuggly heart behind those shy eyes.

Could you be Lorna’s safe place? 🐾💗

More about this rescue

We are a 501c3 non-profit animal rescue. We mostly rescue cats, but occasionally we are able to take in a dog or two. We do not discriminate against which cats and kittens we help, so we may have felines with special needs, or FIV. We will always be up front if we know a cat has something specific. A lot of our rescued animals come from Eastern Washington as there are little resources there.
