My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Bucket and Basil, an adorable bonded pair who go together like peanut butter and jelly! Bucket, a handsome Californian, and Basil, a sweet lop, share a very special bond and must be adopted together. These two truly love each other and are happiest when they’re side by side.

Bucket and Basil came to the Center as an owner surrender when their previous owner moved out of the country and was unfortunately unable to bring them along. While that transition was difficult, they’ve had each other every step of the way.

Their close friendship is heartwarming to watch. Whether they’re relaxing together, grooming one another, or exploring their space, it’s clear that these two are the best of friends. Their bond helps them feel safe and confident, and they bring out the best in each other.

Bucket and Basil are now looking for a loving forever home where they can continue their life together and share their sweet companionship with a lucky family.

If you have read our Adoption Policy and are interested in adopting Bucket and Basil, please complete and submit the online Adoption Application.
