Meet Vesta
Vesta is a beautiful seal point girl with a gentle heart and a very sweet nature. She was rescued from a hoarding situation where she was living in very poor conditions. Despite her difficult start, she has remained incredibly sweet and trusting, and she’s now ready to find the safe, loving home she deserves.
She also enjoys the company of other cats and would likely do well in a home with a friendly feline companion.
If you’re looking for a gentle, loving kitty, Vesta may be the perfect addition to your family. Once she knows she’s safe, she’ll reward you with quiet affection and loyal companionship.

When you appointment time has been set, we will have you come and meet your pet.

If all goes well the pet can go home with you the same day.

Cats $150.00
All cat adoption fees include leukemia testing, spaying or neutering, entire series of vaccines, de-wormer & flea treatment while at the shelter, microchipping, free vet check within 14 days of adoption at any local Columbia County Veterinarian, a complimentary adoption take-home packet and a carrier.
Puppies (under 6 months of age)................................$350.00
Dogs (over 7 months of age).......................................$250.00
All dog adoption fees include , spaying or neutering, current on vaccines, de-wormer & flea treatment while at the shelter, microchipping, free vet check within 14 days of adoption at participating local Columbia County Veterinarian, complimentary take-home adoption packet and a leash and collar.
All adoptions must be reviewed prior to approval. In order to ensure that every dog and cat goes to the appropriate home, Columbia Humane Society reserves the right to approve or deny any adoption application for any reason they see fit. A home check may be performed in order to determine suitability. Columbia Humane Society's kennels are not open to the public, all applications must be filled out prior to meeting with a pet.
