Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Rosie!
Rosie is a beautiful 6-month-old Husky/Shepherd mix with a sweet personality and a bright, curious mind. She loves people and is always happy to soak up attention and affection from her humans.
Rosie can be a little unsure when she encounters new dogs or unfamiliar situations, but with a little time and reassurance she relaxes and gains confidence. Once she feels comfortable, her playful puppy side really comes out.
This smart girl is already potty trained and quick to learn. She enjoys having a routine and would thrive in a home that continues helping her build confidence and learn new things.
Rosie does well with kids and can get along with other dogs, though she may be cautious when meeting them at first. She’s also curious about cats and may try to play with them, but she’s respectful if they set clear boundaries.
Because of her prey drive, Rosie cannot be placed in a home with chickens.
Rosie would do best with a patient family who will help guide her through new experiences and let her grow into the confident, loyal companion she’s meant to be. In return, you’ll get a loving, intelligent pup who will be a wonderful addition to the family. â¤ï¸
What her adoption fee covers: â Spay â Vaccines â Microchip â Treated for fleas and worms
Interested in meeting Rosie? Please email: adoption@columbiahumane.org for an application. Adoption Fee: $350For more information call 503-397-4353 or email adoption@columbiahumane.orgMarch 8, 2026, 7:15 am
