My name is Jade!

We picked Jade up in the middle of a busy road in September of 2018 when she was a little kitten. She saw the unfortunate passing of our elderly dog (terrier beagle mix), and the sudden unexpected passing of our other cat, a 3 year old American shorthair male, so she’s good with other animals. Since we’ve had Jade, we’ve had 3 kids of our own and moved 3 times and about to move a 4th for career changes. Jade had adapted exceptionally well to every move. She is a very sweet and affectionate cat. She loves cuddles and pets and loves people. We are just at an unexpected point in life where we feel we cannot give her the attention she would like, and someone else could grow a strong bond with her and she could thrive in a home that needs her. While she does have claws, she is pretty good about not tearing things up or climbing furniture with them or anything like that. She spends 99% of her time inside but sometimes she does come outside to sit or get some fresh air when we are outside.
