Feather received her name by fluttering around in an alley where she was fed, rescued and now lives in my home. Feather’s mom left her too early and she had no idea how to be a cat. Basically, she left her to fend for herself. Over time, Feather batted at my hair, hand and warmed my heart. She loves to eat and her focus on food is common amongst stray cats. Feather has been known to clear the couch to intercept a piece of steak meant for another. Her nose is up in the air for two reasons. The first is to sniff out food and the other, being temperamental and spoiled, expects the other cats to recognize her importance and give into her. Feather and one of my senior cats fight over the favorite chair in my home. We all like it. She is fun and quirky. Feather likes to play with the other cats along with toys. It’s not uncommon for her to keep her toys in the shower so she can easily find them. Feather likes to be the center of attention and will thrive in a home where she is.
