Hello, my name is Gracie! I came to Good Home after a friendly human rescued me after I was abandoned in Queens. Now I’m in foster care and am enjoying being included in all the couch time and playtime of the household!
I’m a chill but curious girl who loves being part of the goings on of the house. My favorite spot is a cozy, covered bed where I can watch what the humans or other cat is doing, but I don’t have to be involved if I don’t want to. I really enjoy being in the same room as my humans or being next to them on the couch. That being said, I love playtime! The wand toy is the way to my heart and because I am such a joyful girl, my zoomies are the cutest.
I’m shy at first and need lots of space to slowly feel confident in a new environment. But with patience, lots of Churus, and some friendly games of wand toy, I’ll come out of my shell and let my cheerful self shine. My foster human says I bring a “sense of peace” to any room I enter.
I am a sweet, happy, but also independent girl. I’d do best in a quiet home with low activity and humans who are happy to give me a balance of affection and space. I need a lot of patience when I first get to a new home. I currently live with a kitten and enjoy his company, though I’d probably be happiest with a calmer cat I could cuddle with. Because I don’t like surprises, loud noises, or sudden movement I probably should not live with a dog or kids. I would bring such joyful, peaceful, cheerful energy to any place I call home. Could that home be yours?
