My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Electric Lime is a bold, sassy little kitten with a big personality and endless curiosity. This playful girl is always on the move, whether she’s chasing strings, sneak-attacking her brother, or pouncing on wiggling fingers under blankets. With her high energy and adventurous spirit, she’s guaranteed to keep her future family entertained.

One of Electric Lime’s funniest quirks is her fascination with water—especially the toilet! She’s incredibly curious and loves investigating anything new, making every day an adventure in her world. When playtime winds down, you’ll often find her relaxing on the couch or perched on her cat tree, watching everything going on around her.

Electric Lime gets along great with other cats and dogs and would do best in a home with older, cat- or dog-savvy kids. She’s friendly with other animals and always eager to make new friends—even if they’re not quite sure about her enthusiasm yet!

She’s fine being picked up, though she may protest loudly at first before realizing she actually enjoys it. Because she’s still a young kitten, Electric Lime must go to a home with another cat to keep her company.

Fully litter trained and full of sass, Electric Lime is ready to light up her forever home. 🐾

Electric Lime is fixed, microchipped, FIV/FeLv negative, and up to date on vaccinations for her age.

More about this rescue

Twin Cities Pet Rescue (TCPR) is a small, 501c3 nonprofit, companion animal rescue organization. TCPR does not have a facility and is 100% foster-based. TCPR rescues dogs, cats and small animals of all breeds; rescuing them from city impounds, puppy mills, and other situations of abuse and neglect. Once rescued, all animals receive veterinary care ranging from spay/neuter, vaccines, microchips, and basic testing to specialty eye surgeries, pet dermatology care, and various other specialty treatments. Once an animal is rescued by TCPR, it remains in a foster home until adopted, no matter how long that might take.
TCPR often rescues animals that are considered “less adoptable” by other rescue organizations, as they are often the ones overlooked and truly left behind; and in need of the most help. These animals might be overlooked due to their age, health status, special needs or breed. TCPR works to help as many animals in need find their furever families as we can, especially helping those animals that need help most.
