My name is Wynnie!

I rescued Wynnie when she was a puppy. She was very nervous at first but she relaxed and has been a wonderful pet. I believe she was abused by larger dogs when she was a puppy and as a result she is very nervous when other dogs come into her space. I keep her on a short leash when I walk her and I believe she feels protected by this. She has some allergy issues .... I removed chicken from her diet and she seems to do better but occasionally she breaks out in hives on her belly which is easily treatable with 1/2 benadryl over a few days. Wynnie is 5 years old, very sweet and cuddly She loves to lay around and get pets and she is very tolerant and plays well with small children. I have recently been diagnosed with a health issue and my physician has recommended new living arrangements without pets. This is a heartbreaking decision but one that is necessary for my personal health.
