Their adoption process

1.

Submit Application

Adoption applications can filled out using the link- https://www.madison-heights.org/FormCenter/Animal-Control-28/Adoption-Application-81

2.

Approve Application

Contact the ACO at paigewallace@madison-heights.org for a status. All applications are subject to background checks and approval.

3.

Meet the Pet

Meet-n-greets are scheduled with the ACO via appointment only.

4.

Home Check

Meeting will be set up for a meet and greet with the animal and any family members (including pets already in the home)

5.

Home Check

All dog home checks are required.

6.

Sign Adoption Contract

Any fees will be paid during this time and the animal will leave the shelter to go to the home.
