Meet Rozy!

Rozy is a sweet adult Doodle Mix who came to the Mission as an owner surrender. Upon intake, she has been very fearful and will need a very slow and consistent approach to become comfortable in her foster home.

Rozy is currently morbidly obese, so she is already starting on her diet which must continue in order to help her restore her health and mobility.

She has lived with other dogs, cats, and children successfully. Rozy would do great in a home with other animals or as a solo dog.

Rozy comes home spayed, vaccinated, dewormed, and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $200.

Adopters in the Spokane area can expect to meet the pet during the homecheck. Others will arrange a meet and greet.

Once your application has been received, we will evaluate it as a potential match for the given animal and, if your application is selected, we will proceed to call your references and then conclude with a home check and meet and greet scheduled by you at your home. For applicants out of area, the home check may be conducted via video call before the meet and greet.

More about this rescue

From the day we could talk we told our pets more than we ever told our parents. We took the long route to see the kitty in the window down the street. We stopped even when we were late to pet the dog. We grew up and we saw what the world does to those who can't defend themselves. We are here to change that.

Ethical rescue, including fully vetting every animal and carefully placing them all into homes matched to their physical and mental needs is what we do.

Respecting all life, both animal and human, while retaining an underlying goal of keeping animals in their homes. and fostering a sense of community between local shelters and rescues is how we do it.
