My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meatball is a lovely, soft and friendly girl. She is willing to be your snuggle kitty and if she knows you, you can even pick her up.

She is also a little chatty especially when you come home from work! She is so happy to see her loving humans that she has to tell you how great you are........and what she did during the day while waiting for you to come home.

Meatball has been an only child in the recent past and she is learning how to play with other cats. She is fine getting to know and interact the other nice cats in her foster home, but she also wouldn't mind being the only cat in a loving family. She knows how to be the companion cat for humans. Besides being pet and picked up, she would need to go outside with her people in a nice yard to play, snooze, explore and investigate. She's there to be the feline of the family and do a great job of it.

Meatball is a couple years old and is happy to make your life better just by being her wonderful loving self.

Additional adoption info

We require that adopters sign our adoption contract and a legally binding no-declawing agreement. There is an adoption fee. Most adult cats are $80 except for those who are sponsored or part of a special. Kittens under 8 months are $145. All adults are spayed/neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. Kittens are adopted at 12 weeks of age or older and are spayed/neutered prior to adoption.

More about this rescue

Clear Creek Cat Rescue is a group of individuals in Alaska dedicated to rescuing cats in need, giving them care, rehabilitation if needed, and finding happy homes for them. We each give what we can to help these cats get through this most unfortunate time in their lives when they have been taken to the pound or are otherwise lost and homeless. Some of us share our homes with these cats while they are waiting for their forever family, some transport them from place to place, some host adoption fairs, take pictures, post ads. Some offer financial help. We each do what we can to help. And through this dedicated group of people, more than a thousand cats have been saved and found loving homes.
In 2020, we rescued and rehomed approximately 650 cats.
