If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Weaz will be 12 in May and is incredibly healthy and a great snuggly lap cat. He has had some marking issues since my second child was born which was a completely new behavior as he has never urinated outside of his box. We ran all the tests with the vet and there is nothing medically wrong. He’s on prozac (a cream for his ear) and things have been significantly better. The problem is he smells his scent and continues to mark. I have to rehome him because I can no longer argue with my husband about this. He would be a great cat for an experienced adopter or a household who loves to give kitty pets. We have kids but he can be fickle with how he is approached so we have trained our kids to give him space and it works great. He has been known to give some nips in the past and also love nibbles. He is not a cat that can be picked up and dragged all over. He has lived with another cat most of his life but no dogs. This breaks my ❤️ but hoping for a loving family for his remaining years.
