If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Binks was hand raised after being found in a parking lot at approximately two weeks of age. She is now almost five years old. Binks can be very sweet, but has developed some behavior issues; there is a lot of stress in the house: we are moving shortly which I believe has caused Binks to feel abandoned and stressed. There are some occasions she doesn't use the litter box. She is standoffish and quick mood changes, but can also be very loving. She will sit on your lap and nap, as well as sleep on bed at night. Binks needs a loving home with someone who can devote time and attention to her to lessen her stress and help retrain her. Unfortunately, with the move, and a lot of traveling we will be making, we are not able to give that to her at this time. She was raised with two other cats, but never really interacted with them much. I firmly believe that with loving attention, Binks can overcome her insecurities and behavior issues and be a loving companion.
