Duke is 11 years old. He lived with my grandmother for the majority of his life and we took him from her when she was diagnosed with dementia.
We did not want him to be taken to the pound and put down. He has grown very attached to me in his time with us. He is houstrained, however with his elderly age he needs to go more frequently than I am able to provide. He has previously peed and ruined a matress and we had to replace it.
He does currently resource guard his food and water and treats, this has caused a major issue with our cats.
We are moving to an area that does not allow dogs and as such I am trying everything in my power to find him a home that will love him.
He needs a relaxed environment with somone that is home often enough to let him out. Currently he spends alot of time in an in house enclosure due to time co straints and the resource guarding, and that is not fair to him.
