Meet Tonka – a calm, affectionate gentleman who loves hugs and cuddles. This handsome boy is looking for a quiet, loving home where he can relax and be someone’s devoted companion.
Tonka was rescued as a kitten in 2023 after being born to a community cat and was adopted at just 12 weeks old. Recently, he was returned to our sanctuary because he had difficulty adjusting to three dogs in the household—two of which were introduced after his adoption.
Back at the sanctuary, Tonka has reminded us what a special cat he is. He is incredibly sweet, gentle, and people-oriented. He enjoys affection and will happily ask for cuddles, making him a wonderful companion for someone looking for a relaxed and loving feline friend.
Tonka would do best in a calm, indoor-only home, preferably without dogs, where he can feel comfortable and secure.
You can meet Tonka in person at our weekend adoption events at Pet Food Express in Town Square, El Dorado Hills, held Saturdays and Sundays from 11 AM to 3 PM. Come spend some time with him—you just might fall in love!
