Patches was rescued as a tiny kitten and has grown into a charming, independent little lady with a personality all her own. She has that classic “tortitude” spirit—sometimes she’s the queen of the house, and other times she’s ready to curl up for snuggles when the mood strikes. Around dinner time she suddenly bursts into playful zoomies, racing around like a kitten again.
She enjoys toys but prefers a slower, thoughtful style of play, often watching before joining in. When visitors arrive she may slip into the shadows until she feels safe again. One thing she never hides her enthusiasm for? Treats! Patches absolutely loves them and will happily remind you when it’s snack time.
At about 5 years old, Patches is looking for a calm home where her personality can shine and her snack supply is well stocked.

We provide counseling, information, and resources to empower people to support their cats and others in the community. If cats cannot stay with their families or neighborhoods, we prioritize our intake on cats most at risk - cats in need of rehoming; kittens who need specialized care; and cats who have been abandoned, are sick or injured, or are not thriving in the community. We are committed to ensuring the highest level of attention and care for cats in our adoption program and provide a modern, free-roaming adoption center to minimize stress, serve the individual needs of each cat, and set up both cats and adopters for success.
