Rengoku is 5 years old and I originally adopted him from the SPCA. He is very energetic, playful, and sweet. He is not a lap cat by any means but is full of personality and has his tender moments as an attention hog. He has generally been a very easy cat to have until recently. Our living situation has changed in the last year and we now live in a home with other cats. He does not get along with them at all and has been acting out behaviorally because of this. While litterbox trained, he has begun to inappropriately urinate outside of the litterbox (still using the litterbox majority of the time). I cannot afford to move out or take him to the vet if things worsen. We have had to separate the cats entirely and try to balance site switching them. Ultimately he is deeply unhappy and I want him to be in a safe, healthy environment that he will thrive in. I believe if he was the only cat in a household and had space to roam freely he would be living so much better than he currently is.
