Meet Dakota 🤍

Dakota is the kind of dog that quietly steals your heart.

This gentle 3-year-old, 45-lb sweetheart came to us from a hoarding situation and has blossomed into the most loyal, loving companion. Despite her past, Dakota is incredibly trusting, soft-natured, and just wants to be close to her people.

We think she may be a Border Collie/Pointer mix, with the perfect balance of smarts and sensitivity. She walks beautifully on leash, has lovely house manners, and carries a calm, peaceful presence. Dakota is very quiet, medium energy, and happiest simply hanging out by your side.

She’s wonderful with other dogs and would enjoy a canine friend, though she’d also be perfectly content soaking up all your attention. Cats are unknown. Her adaptable nature means she could thrive on a ranch, in a home with a yard, or even apartment living as long as she gets her daily walks and love.

Dakota is a tender, loyal soul who bonds deeply and will be the kind of dog that follows you from room to room just to be near you.
