Layla is a very sweet dog that needs a large fenced in backyard. She cannot be kenneled, she breaks out of every kennel. When she is not kenneled she is calm and extremely loving and sweet. My young son made a lot of promises and he is not helping with her like he promised and we do not have a fenced backyard for her. We are in a duplex and it is proving to be impossible for me to keep her. I have food and a dog bed for her and some chew toys. She has a collar and leashes, she walks well with a leash and does not pull my 8 year old. This is a tough call, However, my son has to learn that he has to be responsible or he cannot keep the dog. I have tried talking to him and warning him several times that if he cannot be obedient we cannot keep her. She even sleeps with us and is a wonderful companion.
I have spent hundreds of dollars on her! She just needs a place to run and hates kennels. If you have a backyard and a doghouse she will be fine. She’s so loving and affectionate.
