My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Rocky is a 3 year old beagle/boxer/hound mix.
Male.
Neutered.
DOB 12/23/22.

We have 2 other dogs and we have had Rocky for 2 years now, originally adopting him from the Islip animal shelter.

While he has made very good progress with temperament and behavioral issues since then, at this point it seems he really needs to be in a home with no other dogs (I cant speak to how he would be with other types of pets).

He can be jealous and wants all the attention, and this has led to him to have several altercations with one of our other dogs, most recently resulting in a pretty bad fight between them.

After much difficult consideration, we think its best and most fair to our other dog (and Rocky) for him to be in a different home environment.

He is very smart and extremely affectionate and we are sure he will otherwise be a great dog in the right home.

We desperately dont want to bring him back to a shelter and are hoping he can find a new loving owner with a big heart here.
