But here’s the incredible part: despite that beginning, he absolutely adores people. There’s no bitterness in him — only love. He falls for his person almost instantly, forming a deep bond that’s truly special. Once he chooses you, he’s all in.
He’s what we lovingly call a “velcro dog.” He wants to be near you, involved with you, connected to you. Whether you’re moving from room to room or heading out on an adventure, he’s happiest right by your side. True to his breed, he’s intelligent, alert, and incredibly eager to learn. Hi, I am the founder of Waiting Under the Willow Foundation, also known as W.U.W.F. We work hard at trying to find homes for dogs that are homeless or scheduled to be euthanized at Harris County Animal Shelter. There are so many dog out there that are so loving and deserving of a good home. My hopes is that more people will open their hearts and homes to some of these sweet dogs❤️.
