The McPherson County Humane Society, now known as Cat House McPherson, was founded in 1979. Our organization is dedicated to promoting animal welfare and working to prevent animal abuse and neglect within our community. We strongly advocate for the importance and benefits of spaying and neutering pets to help reduce overpopulation and improve animal health.
We are proud to maintain a stellar reputation for cleanliness and the calm, welcoming environment of our shelter, which comfortably houses approximately 75 cats at any given time. Every cat in our care receives medical attention, including testing, vaccinations, and spay/neuter surgery when age appropriate, before being adopted into a forever home.
