My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Spot didn’t just walk into our lives—she zoomed in! After a "security breach" involving an open garage door, this sleek black streak sprinted straight into our hearts (and our guest bedroom). Since her grand entrance, Spot has proven to be the ultimate houseguest. She lives for pets and chin scratches, is 100% litterbox trained, and leaves her scratching to the cat tree! A note from her "assistant": Spot knows what she likes! She’ll give you a tiny, gentle nip if your petting technique isn't up to her royal standards, but once you learn her rhythm, it’s all purrs and love. Spot is vaccinated, microchipped, spayed, and FIV/FELV tested negative. Her adoption fee is $50. Apply to adopt her today at pawpatroldayton.com/adopt! All of our animals are vaccinated, micro-chipped and spayed/neutered before being adopted.

More about this rescue

Paw Patrol is a dedicated group of volunteers working to improve the quality of life for pets living in our community.

Our Mission is:
To rescue and re-home neglected, abused, or otherwise unwanted pets into loving homes.
To provide shelter in the form of a lean-to or doghouse to outdoor dogs in an effort to keep them dry and warm.
To provide outdoor dogs with alternatives to chaining in order to improve their quality of life.
To promote the importance of spaying/neutering pets and to offer this service to pets in our community.
To provide information to the public about the negative aspects of pet tethering.
To assist owners with necessary resources to allow them to keep their pet happy, healthy, and out of the already over-crowded shelter system.
