My name is Whiskey!

Shelter Update:   Whiskey is a big boy!   He has such personality.  He will not eat his breakfast until you spend a few minutes in the morning with him brushing him. He's such a character. 

Hi there! I'm Whiskey - and my name says it all: Let me celebrate the New Year (and every day after) with you! I’m a handsome blue and white fellow with a soft coat, gentle eyes, and a big heart. My favorite thing in the whole world? Squeeze up treats! I can never get enough of them — they're the key to my heart, and I’ll gladly sit beside you for as many as you're willing to share!

I’m a calm, sensitive guy who enjoys a peaceful, cozy environment. Loud noises, yelling, fast movements, or thunderstorms? Not my thing. I do best in a quiet home where I can feel safe and relaxed — ideally with someone who understands that I'm more of a “snuggle and chill” type than a “party animal.”

I may be a little shy at first, but once I feel safe, I’ll be your loyal little shadow. Whether you’re ringing in the new year or just enjoying a quiet evening at home, I’ll be right there by your side — soft purrs, gentle nuzzles, and all the love you could ask for.

Volunteer Update:  Whiskey is a loving affectionate cat but seems to be very sensitive to loud voices and hectic movement.  He would do best in a quiet zen environment where he can be the Zen Master.
