Meet Remington 🐾
Remington is the sweet smart one of the bunch — the soft eyes, wagging tail, melt-into-your-arms kind of puppy... that is ready for the adventures.
This 10-week-old Border Collie/ Australian Cattle Dog mix is a gentle, sensitive little guy with a soft, soulful personality. He’s much more “thoughtful collie” than “rowdy heeler,” preferring connection and cuddles over chaos.
He does have that classic cattle dog grit paired with border collie smarts, which means he’s quick to learn, highly observant, and already showing signs of being one clever little problem solver. He’s playful, energetic, and endlessly entertaining — equal parts athlete and comedian.
Remington is wonderfully social and full of personality, with just the right amount of bossy “supervisor” energy that makes everyone laugh. We expect him to be about 35 lbs full grown — the perfect size for hiking, training, road trips, or an active lifestyle.
Because of his working-breed mix, he’ll thrive in a home ready to keep his mind and body busy with training, games, and lots of engagement. In return, you’ll get the most loyal, fun-loving sidekick you could ask for.

Hay Dude Equine Rescue, in Boerne, TX, does not have a shelter - ALL of our dogs, are raised in foster homes in the San Antonio area. Each pup comes spayed or neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations that are appropriate for their age, microchipped, heartworm tested and on current on monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventative.
